<1wordinsane>  Amusement Archipelgo…A place that he had explored…Years ago..Atleast it was years ago for him. For Christian, his companion at the time it was not that long ago, only some months perhaps? The ghost vaguely remembered how it went..A Smeargle had stolen Echo and he was determined to get her back. He..Did not remember exactly what had happened. His mind was still rather hazy, far less than before. The experimental medicines did their work..Mostly. Even though Dr. House is a bit..Strange…His work is nonetheless topnotch and his suggestions are always very good. None the less…There is a reason why Artemis is currently at the entrance of the cave system. It is ..Perhaps the best place to regain full control. Control he lost. But control he can regain.

<Lhumina>  Brutus's excuse for visiting the caves wasn't nearly as introspective.   He just wanted to excavate more rocks for his business, which hadn't been doing too well. He just couldn't understand why people weren't interested in purchasing his utterly useless wares. The obvious solution was to simply go out and fetch more wares. Maybe if he could find some prettier-looking rocks, he'd have more customers.   YEAH. As Brutus made his way over to the cave's mouth, he couldn't help but notice a woman standing by the entrance. He slowed his pace, hesitating. Brutus wasn't the most comfortable around women. It wasn't as if he could just ignore her, either. I mean, she was right there, and that would have been rude. Being rude was never cool, and Brutus was all about keepin' it cool. Awkwardly, he raised a hand in greeting. "Yo," he called. "Uh... 'sup?"

<1wordinsane>  Artemis sighed a bit and pondered if this is once good idea. He did not feel quite confident in his abilities. True he had test them out before but sometimes they purely failed to even start. The only move that he was certain of using is Hex. The ghost blinked slowly as he heard someone greet him. He idly looked over at the source of a voice. It was a person he had not yet met nor seen yet..Interesting. Artemis tilted his head to the side a bit and gazed at the much taller man. He believed his height was around…6'6''..Much taller than his own 4'6''. He has regained a bit of colour, still very pale but not deadly pale than before. The ghost blinked once before observing the male with wide glassy eyes. Slowly gaining focus as his interest piqued more and more. His actions seemed..Hesitant. Awkward perhaps. He wondered why. The man has only said three words, not nearly enough to make up a profile about him. The man was quite..Burly..Judging by his outfit a Krookodile aligned male. Hmm from the look of him he has some knowledge of the mines, atleast that is what Artemis believes seeing the pickaxe. Though something on his body made Artemis curious. Far too curious for his own good. His eyes focused ever so slightly as his gaze went to the man's thighs, more specifically the keychain of a Jigglypuff. It seemed…Out of place almost. But once more he does not have enough knowledge to set up a temporary profile for the male. The ghost blinked several times before nodding his greeting to the male, lifting up his gaze to eyes that were hidden behind sunglasses. "Good day."

<Lhumina>  Wow, she was so short. He hadn't realized how short she was from farther away, but now that he was closer, daaang. Kinda eerie-looking, too. He'd never seen a lady who looked quite so... unsettling, before. It was a little nerv-- oh Arceus, was she checking him out?Creepy. He shouldered his pickaxe to distract himself from the idea, twisting the handle so that he could twirl the axehead behind him. Which is a really stupid thing to do, by the way; don't ever play with pickaxes. He needed a way to disperse the awkwardness. With an incredibly unsubtle fake-cough, Brutus shuffled one foot and pointed towards the mouth of the cave. "So, uh, what's a chick like you doin' all the way out there?" he asked. "You plannin' on goin' in there by yourself?"

<1wordinsane>  Hmm…He was acting a bit nervous. Artemis tilted his head to the otherside as he looked on, it is perhaps because of him? That might be a reason, it is always a good reason. He admits that he has a bit of a…Unsettling look. Haunting even. The ghost idly raised his hand before rubbing his chin. It seemed that he also wished to enter the cavern..Having another person there would be good. Artemis still did not know where his other arm is. As evident as his right sleeve was completely limping from shoulder length, having nothing and idly swaying in the small wind that blew out of the caverns. "I wish..To regain control of my moveset.." Artemis looked to the right, a slightly sorrowful look as he shook his head."Certain incidents happened to me and my body has certainly degraded because of it. But yes I do plan on going in there by myself."

<Lhumina>  Brutus raised a brow, mildly surprised. Was she being serious? A tiny little thing like herself was going into a big place like that all alone? Did she have a deathwish? The caves were pretty safe, by cave standards, granted, but still! There were wild Pokemon in there, and stuff you could hurt your toes on. Your toes. Definitely no place for a little girl to be wandering around in. She should really have some kind of protection ready, if she was going to be... uh... hold on. The Krookodude's thoughts peetered out when he recognized the way Artemis's sleeve was dangling.   There was nothing beneath that fabric at all, was there? This chick was a gimp. Oh my Arceus. Well, that settled it. He wasn't keen on the idea of keeping in company with a girl, but he couldn't, in good conscience, let her continue by herself. Brutus took a step forward and held out his free hand, swallowing his unease and offering the lady a handshake. "Well, tell ya what, dog," he said. "I'm headin' in there, myself, so why don't we go together, huh? Name's Brutus. Good to meetcha."

<1wordinsane>  Artemis blinked as he heard the male and slowly turned his head. He blinked once as he observed him. He was defiantly sill uneasy..Yet there is something else there..Hmm..Interesting. "Hmm..Are you certain? Company would certainly be nice and I would not refuse that." The ghost raised his left hand and grasped the offered hand before giving hesitating. He looked at the hand and slowly swallowed before closing his eyes, there is no reason to fear anything. The ghost slowly grabbed the offered hand and gave it a quick shake before letting it go, sadly for him he started shaking a bit. "My name is Artemis." The ghost said after a while as he tried to control the shaking, he gave the taller man a bow and continued." A pleasure to meet you…Brutus." The ghost turned and wandered into the cave opening.

<Lhumina>  Nnnnnneeeeeeeehhhhhhladytouchladytouch. Brutus wiped his hand on his shorts once Artemis turned away, before trotting after her. He couldn't help but notice the way the poor thing was quivering, and the Krookodude felt a stab of sympathy for her despite his obvious apprehensions. "Hey, listen, Artemis, there ain't nothin' to be scared about," he told her, pointing farther down the cave, where the rocks and walls were eclipsed by shadow. "There's nothin' bad down there. If there were, this place wouldn't be open to the public, dog." Actually, he was only making that up, but it sounded like a pretty reasonable explanation to him, and hopefully it would help ease her fears a little. 'Cause why else would she be shaking, if not because she was afraid of the dark? HURPADERPADURR.

<1wordinsane>  Artemis heard the male speak and slowly turned his head around to gave a quizzical look at Brutus. "Hmm…I beg to differ, though you are correct…Mostly. The first area of the cave are home to bug, water, grass and normal types..Though I have only seen first evolution ones. They are quite week but none the less there are strong ones. For example..I remember that there was an area that is the territory of a clan of Pinser." Artemis idly held up his arm, letting the sleeve drop and showed the limb to Brutust, the fleshy-part, black flames and the bony upperarm. The ghost indicated a crack there that was almost healed."I believe I remember them giving me this. I do know that the deeper you go into the mines the more..Exotic and perhaps dangerous creatures appear." Artemis paused and something clicked into his mind. The male was a dark and ground type, thee of the wild pokemon that appear in this cave were super effective against him." Hmm..It would be best if you stay on your guard though Brutus." Artemis said as his look of confusion turned to concern. "I do not wish for you to get injured in this cave. Type advantages are a bad recipe for …Serious injury." Artemis blinked before smiling. "But do not worry, I shall do my best to help you as much as I can. I am only bones so I do not mind if I get injured yes?" Artemis did not stay for an answer and turned before walking deeper in the cave. The first couple of turns or and tunnels , they were constantly heading downward, not that they know of it, were mainly dark and typically cave-like, with small amounts of plantlife spread about here. They it was not long before they reached the true cave level. Artemis looked around and nodded slowly." I remember…Truly an interesting place this cavern." The ceiling was two persons above them, roots hung down like a ceiling-carpet between several stalactites. Small trees were growing from the ground, In-between their branches Catterpie could be seen, blinking and going along their own business. The area around them was pretty much a natural jungle. The ghost could see several pools spread out in the distance with and bushes and tall grasses inhabiting the places where there was no water . The plants rustled constantly, and apparently the area was lit up by a pokemon or two who had used Flash and remained in the room.

<Lhumina>  Whoops, caught in a lie; Artemis apparently knew more about these caves that he'd assumed. Brutus stared at the severed limb when it was shown to him.   The hell kind of an injury was that? Pinsirs could really do that? Really? Pinsirs? Those freaky brown things with the eerie mouths and the bizarre hedgeclipper horns? Naaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwww. Artemis had to be mistaken. There was just no way, as far as Brutus was concerned. He's kind of a twit, though, so... Anyway. The Krookodude nodded sagely while he listened to Artemis's spiel, looking amused. Type advantages didn't scare him, nope. He would take on anything, frankly put. He glanced at her at the 'only bones' remark, frowning. She did seem pretty thin. "They make pretty good cheeseburgers at the inn," Brutus remarked, shrugging. "Might fix your bone problem. Don't worry 'bout me none, dog. I got everythin' under--*WHAM*" Hello there, incredibly low-hanging stalactite. Brutus rubbed his face where the rock had made impact, stepping around it and acting as though the incident had never happened. Yes. :I Just admire the pretty scenery. He hadn't been in this part of the cave before. "Huh," Brutus grunted. "This is neat. Didn't know there was a place like this down here. S'almost like bein' back outside, ain't it? Is this what you came to see?"

<1wordinsane>  The ghost blinked as he heard the cheeseburger comment."I..Have not been to the inn actually. I have lost my sense of taste as such I do not eat…Hmm..Now that I think about it..I rarely ate before." Well that was food for thought, maybe he should feed more in the future..It wouldn't harm anything he believed. Artemis turned back to look before *WHAM* The ghost quickly turned his head to see that Brutus rubbing his face, the ghost opened his mouth to ask if he was alright but the taller male already continued as nothing has happened..Hmm..Perhaps he merely has a rockhead and did not feel such a hit..It could always happen. "Hmm I believe this is the deepest part..Of this level. I have seen a tunnel at the end leading downwards..So there are deeper levels." Artemis said slowly as a frown appeared on his face, he was trying to remember, it was rather hard and frankly the ghost was failing. The Banette aligned man sighed and placed it as a job badly done before turning to look back at Brutus. "Hmm yes… Though this area is a more..Jungle like …It is remarkable that such an… Ecosystem can exist in a cave is it not? But….Yes…This is the area that I wish to visit. There are a lot of wild pokemon here..Plenty to see if I still have control over my moves yes?" The ghost gave Brutus a small smile before idly turning forwards. But then a stray thought crossed his mind."Oh..I am..Rude…My apologies but..I did not ask why you are here…Yes? Is there..Something I can help you with?"
<Lhumina>  Amagad. Couldn't taste? Rarely ate? Was this lady anorexic?   Poor gal needed some professional help, if that was the case. A cheeseburger wouldn't save her. He supposed it wasn't really any of his business anyway. "Me?" he asked, staring down at Artemis. "Nah, I don't need help with nothin'. Just collectin' some stuff to bring back to my store. I call it the Rock Rack; I sell rocks there, y'know, as novelties. But, uh..." He trailed off, glancing around. He wasn't a big fan of bugs, but all those little Caterpies... They were all he could see, at the moment, as far as wild Pokemon went; was Artemis really planning to practice on them? But but but but but but they were so little and helpless and gooey-eyed.   "You're not really gonna show off your moves against a buncha babies, are ya, dog?" Brutus asked. "I don't know if there are actually any on Raccolto, but they do have trainin' gyms for that sorta stuff out there, somewhere. You could always look for one of those instead."

<1wordinsane>  Artemis tilted his head and looked at Brutus with wide eyes. He was..Confused.."A..Novelty shop..That sells rocks? I..Hmm…I have seen..Ores around..They are a bit..Shiny…So perhaps you could sell those as well. Perhaps it would be beneficial for your shop? I..Do not know." Artemis shrugged slightly, almost helpless like before Brutus once more caught his attention."Hmm…On..Babies? No..Not..Particularly.." Hisses and screeches along with the sounds of two objects clanging against eachother reached Artemis' ear as they twitched, Artemis blinked and dropped what ever he was going to say, instead going to investigate the sounds. He walked through the rustling grass, spreading out several Bidoofs and Rattata's before reaching a small clearing surrounded by trees. In the clearing the ghost saw a pack of Zangoose battling a trio of Tauros. The ghost believed it would be because of territory issues. "I…Believe..I wish to test them on something more like those." The fight was rather Brutal and Artemis could already see that both parties have sustained damage. As for training gyms...I do know but I generally stay away from them..People...Do not like me yes?"

<Lhumina>  "Ores, huh? That's not a bad idea. I guess I could keep an eye out for those," Brutus agreed, before stopping to look in the direction Artemis had strayed. He caught sight of the Pokemon battling there. Oh. Yep. Those were a lot tougher-looking than Caterpies. Brutus twirled his pickaxe again. "Ah. Yeah. Those are... definitely not babies," he admitted. Artemis had him curious now, though. If she was looking for opponents this sturdy, the moves she was planning to try out must have been pretty intense, themselves. He shoved his free hand into his pocket and regarded the Banette with mild interest. "... Mind if I watch?" he asked. "Y'know, just to make sure nothin' goes wrong 'n all." Lies. He just wanted to see what she could do.
<1wordinsane>  Artemis slowly nodded as Brutus spoke, still keeping an eye on the wild pokemon. It has seemed that the pack of Zangoose are coordinating their attacks on a single Tauros at a time however, the Tauros did not let up. The ghost frowned a bit as a Zangoose was hit with a rather well placed wild charge knocking him out of the equation. The ghost idly blinked as Brutus asked him to watch."Hmm…No I do not mind at all Brutus. " Artemis was oblivious to his true intentions and just believes the taller man wanted to make sure he's okay. He close his eyes and looked up to Brutus with one of his eyesmiles."Hmm thank you very much for looking after me." The ghost turned and sluggishly gave the man a bow."I will be in your care…I..My body is still not at 100%..So the chance of stepping in may be rather large. " The ghost turned back to the battling area and sighed softly. Artemis slowly began swaying to an imaginary beat, his head and body flowing like water, like wind. Dark clouds appeared under the cave ceiling as it began to rain. The ghost frowned a bit, the area affected was much smaller than he had expected..Indeed he is not at his 100% not even 60% he believes. None the less here he went. He could not use Hex that much is certain. Normal types are unaffected by ghost moves afterall but it would be enough. The ghost unzipped his cloak slightly, showing the pearly white bones underneath before letting out a long stream of Will-o-whips, the fires where small and a very dark blue. Not particularly strong in heat nor in size but the Banette aligned man believed, Artemis send the streams into the clearing, the raindrops hitting the balls of fire creating small hisses and streams of steam. When he reached them he let the balls fly out in one explosive movement. The Zangoose and Tauros stopped their fighting and looked up at the rainclouds. It was certainly not something they expect in this place, rain was unheard of in a cave. They turned alert when they heard the hissing and saw the balls of fire enter the clearing, the Tauros stayed together as well as the pack of Zangoose. When Artemis started his attack everything developed in chaos. The ghost was lucky and had hit most if not all of the Zangoose and two of the bulls with his statusinflicting move. Already he could see the marks of burns on them. The balls that missed hit the grass around them however the rain quickly put a stop to any potential fires. The Banette shifted his lowerbody into his smoke whisp form before shooting into the clearing. He wishes to see..How well he could dodge now. The Tunderus catching event was..Wonderful actually. But now it is another kind of test.

<Lhumina>  Brutus set his pickaxe down against a wall and watched as Artemis began her training session. At first, he was just sort of amused, especially when she bowed and thanked him for looking out for her. Silly girl. When she opened her cloak, though --   OH MY ARCEUS, THAT CHICK'S PACKIN' HEAT. Literally. He didn't know what he had been expecting, but it certainly wasn't that. The Krookodude stepped back, caught off-guard, which intensified when the rainclouds came into play, too. This Artemis gal was resourceful. He never would have thought of meddling with the weather in a place like this. Then again, Brutus had never been much of a thinker. When she hit most of her targets, he couldn't help but feel impressed. "Er..." he gruffed. "Not bad. Is that the only thing you're testin', or...? Uh..." He hesitated when she morphed into whisp mode. ".. Guess not."

1wordinsane>  The ghost did not hear Brutus' praise, too bad otherwise he would have blushed or something. Praise is not something that Artemis receives too much afterall. As it is the ghost burst into the clearing before he could. He was currently flying through the clearing, zipping between Tauros and Zangoose alike, pretty much being a small nuisance. He did not wish to test out Thunder just yet. First he wished to know how well he could do this, dodging is a very important part of his battle technique afterall. The ghost is powerful..However he cannot take too many hits, his anatomy did not allow that. He could be considered a glass cannon, powerful but frail and brittle. The ghost still has not yet regained his sense of feel, smell and touch. As such he needed to keep his eye on all of the opponents..He could not rely on his instinct right now. It is..Troublesome, it is the reason why the ghost was zipping, turning and flowing through the clearing. True his lowerbody is in his whispform however his upperbody was still suitable for attack. Which is why the ghost was doing his best to keep up with everything. The ghost noticed that two of the Tauros began charging towards him, their forehead glowing bright blue, with hinds of pink as well. Artemis turned and saw that some Zangoose where behind him, they were dashing towards him as well, their claws shone slightly with some sort of power. The ghost paused and floated between them and waited until the last second before zipping upwards, letting the two sources of attack hit one another. It worked particularly well actually. True some of the Zangoose were agile enough to tumble out of the way but three of the five where hit by the Zen Heabutt, two Zangoose were hit so hard that they were knocked backwards, before hitting a tree. At the same time the Tauros where hit by theirX-Scissors, the slashes where located at their lower body, but it seemed that the two Tauros where not too bothered by them. The ghost was relatively pleased, however that was not something good in a battle, getting distracted is never good. Artemis heard the swishing of something from behind and spun around, barely avoiding the hit, however his sleeve was not so lucky as the one sleeve that was flowing limply after him, got cut off by a Zangoose, the mongoose pokemon landed ontop of one of the Taurous before spinning and jumping at Artemis once again, it's claws shining brightly with energy. Artemis could not lament the loss of his sleeve in battle now, since the ghost knew that staying still was a bad thing as such he began zipping and flowing through the battle all over again..Though it was getting harder. The rain was getting his cloak soaked and much heavier than before, which makes it harder for him to move as before..Though he could just push his body farther. By now it has been five minutes or such and because of his actions and at the same time the ghost has seen that he had managed to knock out the majority of Zangooses and a Tauros because of misdirected fire. He was rather pleased and now only three Zangooses were left along with two Tauros. They have seemed to placed aside their differences for the moment and were now working together to hit him. The Zangoos jumped and tumbled into the sky forcing Artemis closer to the bull, as it tried to hit him withWild Charge. There has been some very narrow escapes by Artemis but his luck could not hold forever. Artemis did not sense nor see a Zangoose hiding in the shadow of one that just leaped at him, it's body was covered by black energy and the only thing that was visible was it's red eyes. The ghost dodged that one's Fury Cutter however was hit in the back by the other Zangoose, the energy off Pursuit exploded and knocked Artemis out of his flight. Right into the trajectory of the Tauros. It saw the chance and took it. The bull charged at Artemis as sparks came of its body, the sparks enveloped the mammal's entire body as he became covered in electricity. With a triumphant cry the attack was successful and smacked Artemis away, the ghost could not put up any resistance and bounced several times on the ground before laying there on his back, he did not get any breathing room as he was immediately forced to roll out of the way of Zangoose that stabbed the earth, just where his head was. The ghost felt that it was enough for now, he had believed that..He was around 60% of his usual abilities, which was..Acceptable. Artemis zipped up into the air until he reached the dark clouds he had appeared with Rain dance Artemis started flying round, around the clouds making them more dense. Violent sparks of elektricty began dancing them as the ghost was planning on testing his strength of thunder. The four wild pokemons on the ground could not do anything but warily go around the clearing, none of their attacks where of the special variety and the Zangooses could not jump that high. When there was an almost constant stream of electricity between the clouds Artemis stopped and raised his arm, the cloud began twitching as they spiraled above the quartet of pokemon, when Artemis swings his arm down, a large lightning bolt crashes down from the cloud lightening up the area. After the light fades down there was a loud Thundernoise. He was relatively sure that was..Sufficient. Though he was a bit tired now. Artemis kept his gaze on the clearing, he could see that the Tauros was twitching on the ground along with two of the Zangoose. He could see the residue sparks of Thunder going from their body to the ground. However there was still one left. The ghost carefully floated downwards and stayed alert. He once more summoned a line of Will-o-whisps, this time the balls of fire sluggishly started to fly around his body, forming somewhat of a protective barrier. A cry next to him made Artemis fling out his arm as he shot out the balls of fire. The projectiles hit the Zangoose in the chest and pelted it towards a nearby tree knocking him out. "Ah..That..Is..Sufficient." Artemis said to himself as he floated back down to earth, shifting back his lowerbody to it's corporal form.

<Lhumina>  Oh. Brutus watched with a thoroughly blank expression as Artemis went full-blown kamikaze ninja all over the cavern. Words failed him.   He did not expect that level of badassery from a tiny little girl like Artemis. Golly, could looks be deceiving or what. And she only found her handiwork sufficient? Sufficient? This chick was intense, yo.
Brutus had to take a moment to regain his composure while Artemis returned to her usual form, stunned. "Y..." He cleared his throat and straighted up, putting on the coolest act he could manage. Which wasn't all that cool. Brutus was a shitty actor. "Yeah! Yeah, uh, sufficient. Definitely, dog. Looks like you figured everything out pretty well."

<1wordinsane>  The ghost sighed and idly clenched his hand before unclenching it. He looked around the clearing and..Did not see his sleeve. "Ah..No." Artemis slumped down and sighed sadly looking at the gape that once was his sleeve. Ah..Well atleast he still had the majority of his cloak. Just..Sleeveless, if one would peer into the gap they would totally see the whites of Artemis's ribcage. The ghost turned and looked at Brutus as he blinked slowly. He was acting a bit oddly. "I…Am glad that you believe so." Artemis said after a while before giving Brutus a small bow. "I..Believe I am at 60% of what I am able to do so…I…Am glad that you believe I have eum…Figured out everything? " Artemis was a bit confused by what he meant with that but would just go with the flow as they say. "It is..Sad that there were only normal types in this clearing. I did not test out Hex. But then again I believe..That I am sufficiently able with that move."

<Lhumina>  "Hex," Brutus echoed, staring at Artemis blankly. There was more that she could do? Crazy. And all of that had been at 60% of her maximum power? The Krookodude inched away from the Banette slightly.   Women who could actually kick ass were even more intimidating than the women who couldn't. And for someone who found women intimidating, period, that was really, really intimidating. He tapped the toe of one of his boots into the ground, fidgeting. "Yeah, uh. Well, it's good you got that one down, anyway. What does the other one do? This 'Hex' thing? I always thought that was like, a color code thing for techies, or whatever. Not a move or nothin'."

<1wordinsane>  "I.." The Banette aligned man blinked several times as he gave Brutus a look of confusion, peering up the much taller man's face with wide eyes. "Colour…Code…Techies? I…Do not understand nor know what you mean." Artemis is old and he's kinda…Technology idiotic really. That's more a Rotom's jig. Artemis is more the old fashioned kind of guy. He was completely oblivious to Brutus' fear or mood. More interested in what he is saying. But he believed it would be best to explain at first. Artemis mused a bit before slowly replying. "Well..' The ghost lifted his arm into the air and held his hand out, palm first. Purple lines fizzled into existence on his palm creating the image of a closed eye. Quite quickly dark wiggly tentacles ruptured out of his palm surrounding the eye as it opened up shooting out a inky black mist. The mist swirled around Brutus as it was completely devoid of any kind of light. "Hex. ..Is a move that does double the damage if the target… Is suffering under a major status effect... It seeks out the weakness of the body and zooms into that, taking control of that weakness, seeping into your body and corrupting it. Destroying it. It is a ghost move and one that I have full control over." With a wave of his hand the Hex disappeared as the eye closes and fizzled away into nothing.

<Lhumina>    Well, that was an unnerving display. If Brutus hadn't been uncomfortable already, now he really wasn't. The Krookodude found himself reaching for his pickaxe again, if only for comfort's sake. He slung it over his shoulder and made an effort to act nonchalant, even though the bucketloads of sweat he was producing blatantly betrayed his true demeanor.Gross.   Chill out, dude, seriously. Brutus gave Artemis a nod. "Ah. Yeah. Well. Uh. That makes sense, dog," he stammered. "I gotcha now. I hope you can find a way to practice it later on, 'n all that. Looks cool, at any rate." Lies. The wiggly tendrils had spooked the hell out of him.

<1wordinsane>  "Hmmm..Hopefully…But I believe I have a sufficient grasp on Hexalready..Observe." The ghost closed his eyes and the red lines formed on the ground underneath Brutus and himself. The tentacles erupted from the ground and wiggled around them, enclosing them into the area of hex before the eye opened up. Enveloping Artemis and Brutus in a sphere of pure blackness. "As you can see." Artemis said as he didn't bother to look at Brutus. Not like he could see him anyway. "We are currently in a sphere of it..A sphere where there is no source of light, no source of sound. If you are alone you would not know if what you hear is your own voice..Or perhaps your thoughts. Enough to make someone mad no?" The ghost once more let the Hex disappear into nothingness. "Now..Brutus yes? May I…Perhaps ask of you if there is something I can do? For your kindness of before." The ghost was referring to when Brutus offered to accompany him and when he offered to keep an eye on him just in case something went wrong.

<Lhumina>  ALL THE ANXIETY. ALL THE ANXIETY EVER. The fact that he had still been wearing shades while all the darkness was surrounding them probably hadn't helped much, either. Somehow, it had felt as if they had only made the blackness blacker. Which wasn't even possible.   It was a good few seconds before the large man was able to find his voice again, and when he did, it squeaked like a prebuscent boy's. Really, now? Really, Brutus? The fella wasn't a hard case to crack; it didn't take much to make him lose the lid on his cool, for all that he tried to contain it.   "That's, that's, uh, that's a pretty wicked move there, yo," Brutus managed to say. "Bet when you get it mastered, it'll be a real deal-sealer." He gave a forced, nervous laugh. "Anyway, uh, naw, I don't need nothin'. 'Preciate the offer, though, but I'm just gonna get my rocks 'n jet, unless there was anythin' else you wanted." Really, though, he was ready to make a bolt for it. He'd offered to come down here with her because he'd mistaken Artemis for a helpless gimp. How wrong he had been. This was terrifying, man.

<1wordinsane>  A squeek? Huh strange that is not something that he would have expected coming from a large burly man like Brutus. "Hmm...I...Fear mastering Hex to be honest. I am quite glad to have it at the level I have now..Ghost moves are rather...Demonic..They sometimes have a mind of their own yes? " The ghost looked over at the taller man blinking slightly before slowly nodding."Ah but that is something I can help you with yes? Finding rocks." The ghost closed his eyes and gave Brutus one of his eyesmiles." It is the least I can do. Please I insist..Though I am a bit tired now.."

<Lhumina>  Alright, deep breaths. You've got this, man. Calm down. Caaalm down. The Krookodude cleared his throat again and shook his head, lifting his free hand in a dismissive wave. "S'all good," he replied. "I can handle it. Rocks 'n me, we're on the same wavelength." Whatever that was supposed to mean.   "I got this, no worries. I can walk you back out, though, if you're done here. Don't want you gettin' woozy or somethin' on the way, if you're too exhausted." And once she was safe, he could totally book it.   Yesssss.

<1wordinsane>  The arm sensed his body. SOOON SOON. It clambered down the mines and reached the level where Artemis and Brutus are. Some pokemon came to poke it but the arm was rambo. It beat the shit out of them before thining away towards where it sensed the body. THERE! The arm flung itself at Artemis..But totally landed on Brutus before kinda wiggling over him completely.
The ghost was not pleased with that answer, he really wanted to reply Brutus. "Oh..I see...But..Perhaps I can..Eum..Cook you a meal? Yes a meal as a thank you wo-" Oh hey his arm. Artemis blinked and idly waved at his arm...Wait..Oh hey his arm!

<Lhumina>    DISEMBODIED ARM OUT OF NOWHERE. OH GOD, WHY. Cue panic. Cue flailing. Cue an effort to grab the arm and fling it away. You wouldn't have to go out a limb to understand that the attack had startled him, even though it didn't seem to be doing any actual harm. HOHOHOHO.

<1wordinsane>  He was not amused. The IT was not amused. It ninja'd all over Brutus before slapping his face. It went for another hit but Brutus grabbed it and flung it away, into a tree..Where Pineco's fell...That began glowing for self destruct.
"Oh no my arm!" Artemis said out in alarm before slowly looking towards where it landed...Cue the Pineco."O...Ohno." Artemis reacted, he quickly shifted his lowerlegs into their whispform before flying over and scooting up all the Pineco's. He zipped off away from Brutus. Just in time for a massive explosion to rattle the caverns. Screeches and the sounds of wild pokemon fleeing away could be heard as the combined self-destruct had an explosive result.

<Lhumina>  Why does something always explode in our roleplays together.   Brutus stared after Artemis, stunned. Partially from the slap. Artemis's rambo arm had a killer slap. He was pretty sure there was a giant, red imprint on his cheek now, and boy, did it sting. It took the man a moment or two to recognize the sounds of a violent explosion, though, and the tremors rocking the cavern were but a testament to how powerful it had been. Ohh, Arceus. Time to get out of here. He had to -- wait, where had the ghost girl gone? Was she okay? Butts. He had to find her, first. Conscience over fear, conscience over fear. Stupid conscience. Stupid fear. Stupid, stupid priorities. He tore off in the direction the sound had come from, calling out Artemis. "YO!" he hollered. "Hey, Artemis! You alive back there?"
Speaking of stupid, nice choice of words there, buddy.

<1wordinsane>  The Explosions were quite fierce and without a doubt would have seriously injured everyone in the area. The ground shook and laid bare with craters as some trees were unrooted. The Banette was however someone special, it merely knocked back Artemis completely against a tree and he laid there unmoving, until he began twitching. After a while of twitching he stood back up and groaned a bit while holding his head. The Explosion disorientated him. Though he did manage to hear Brutus' unfortunate choice of words."Ah..My apologies I am quite dead, but I am unharmed. Normal type moves do not work on ghosts afterall. " Artemis looked back to the larger man and nodded satisfied that he was unharmed off the explosion, he was in time then. "It seems that my arm is a bit..Troublesome once more." The ghost flew towards his arm and scooped it back up, attaching it to his body with a layer of Hex."That should keep him silent for now..Though I must say that this endeavor proved far too dangerous for yourself..Perhaps it is best to stop now. A shame though." Artemis muttered shaking his head, he wished to explore the first level in much better detail however he did not wish to place Brutus in more danger."Alas it seems that we should take our head back upwards."He muttered while looking solemly at the area, hopefully the wild pokemon here will be able to fix the damage..Exploding pineco's are a natural threat in nature afterall. "But yes..Thank you for your help Brutus. " And so Artemis and Brutus went back up after this adventure…Brutus still believing Artemis is a girl.
